Ensure your solutions are always connected:
Offer your customers always-on, real-time connectivity.
Provide peace of mind.
Keep your solutions connected.
rSIM is your backup when you need it most. Enhance your offering with cost-effective resilience.
Help your customers avoid the disconnection:
Always on, real-time connectivity.
Avoid downtime risks.
-
rSIM is testing your device’s connection directly from the SIM itself. When it detects a loss of connection, rSIM allows a set amount of time for the device to roam to multiple networks to try and re-establish connectivity. If roaming fails to re-establish a connection and the device is no longer reachable, rSIM autonomously switches to the back-up profile, to re-establish connectivity.
-
Real-time reporting is available for every connection test performed from every resilient SIM. Any failed connectivity attempts are visible through the connectivity management portal.
Operational Efficiency.
-
rSIM is available in all form factors including physical SIMs and eSIM. It can be seamlessly integrated during the manufacturing process, incorporated into a device as part of the assembly or simply added during installation.
-
rSIM can be tailored to the specific requirements of a device or installation process, whether that be the MNO profiles incorporated, the data requirements or the volume required.
Global Coverage.
-
rSIM’s partnerships with leading Mobile Network Operators means it can support deployments all over the world, whilst avoiding issues normally associated with international roaming.
-
Also available as a tailored offering providing a single SKU for rSIMs to be deployed across several countries, reducing ordering process and deployment complexity.
Unlocking Operational Efficiency:
Discover the advantages of Always On connectivity.
Give your customers peace of mind.
-
Your customers can have confidence in your solution, knowing it’s supported by the most resilient connectivity solution on the market.
-
When downtime isn’t an option, rSIM keeps your solutions connected, ensuring your customers can trust your service.
Outages? No problem!
-
During an outage, rSIMs seamlessly switch to an alternative MNO’s core infrastructure. Instead of troubleshooting the issue with your chosen MNO, rSIM will keep your devices connected.
-
We also manage the number of rSIMs attempting to reconnect to the main MNO once an outage is over. This mitigates against ‘signalling storms’, when too many SIMs try to reconnect upon service restoration.
Future-Proofed Connectivity.
-
rSIM has two MNO profiles built into the SIM. These profiles can be tailored to meet your needs. They can also be amended should your requirements change.
-
rSIM supports 4G and 5G connectivity, making use of the latest mobile technologies.
Upgrade from single to dual SIM.
-
rSIMs dual-core technology provides the equivalent of dual-SIM connectivity for devices that only have 1 SIM slot.
-
This means manufacturers and OEMs do not need to redesign their solutions to take advantage of this innovation – saving time and money. What’s more, rSIM can be added to existing solutions, even those already installed, upgrading them to dual-SIM technology.
Reduced Support Calls.
-
rSIMs autonomously identify when connectivity has been lost and switch to the back-up mobile operator profile during any outages.
-
With rSIMs maintaining connectivity for your devices, your customers will not be impacted and you won’t be swamped with inbound enquiries or complaints.
Increase Customer Satisfaction.
-
Your devices or solutions will stay online during an outage, protecting your company from complaints, brand reputation issues, and ultimately customer churn.
-
Furthermore, whilst your competitors are offline and you are online, you will be able to use this as evidence to win new business.
Enhance Your Connectivity:
Whether you are a Device Manufacturer or OEM, we’ve got the right solution for you.
Device Manufacturer
- Higher product uptime (less downtime). If devices lose network access (e.g. because the SIM carrier is unavailable), rSIM can switch profiles so the device keeps working. That’s especially important for critical devices (remote sensors, security, health, etc.)
- Better customer experience. Less frustration for end users when devices stay connected more reliably, even in regions with patchy coverage or during network outages.
- Reduced operational and support costs. Fewer customer service calls or field visits as connectivity isn’t lost. Less cost for troubleshooting “unreliable connectivity” issues.
- Global deployment becomes easier. Devices sold in many countries don’t need different SIMs or separate designs per region; rSIM’s ability to switch profiles makes cross-region deployment smoother.
- Flexibility & resilience. In case of carrier issues (maintenance, outages, shutdowns), device manufacturers have built-in fallback so their devices are more resilient to external disruptions.
- Faster time to market and simplified supply chain. Instead of negotiating separate contracts or designing for different providers in every territory, manufacturers can rely on rSIM’s intelligent switching to simplify logistics.
- Competitive advantage. Devices that “just work”, even when networks are spotty, will stand out – better for reputation, reviews and sales.
OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer)
-
Improved reliability of modules and subsystems. Modules with rSIM built in are less likely to fail or cause interruption due to network issues. That increases the quality of the OEM’s components.
-
Differentiation. OEMs can offer “connectivity resilience” as a value-add, making their components more attractive to device manufacturers (for example in markets where connectivity is intermittent).
-
Lower support costs. Fewer failures or complaints due to connectivity dropouts means fewer warranty claims or field service calls.
-
Easier integration in variable network environments. OEMs supplying globally will benefit from an embedded mechanism that handles switching between networks – reduces complexity for customers integrating the modules.
-
Scalability. For OEMs serving many device manufacturers, providing a resilient connectivity solution via rSIM helps standardise handling of network switching, rather than each customer re-inventing their own solution.
-
Better end-user satisfaction (via OEM’s customer’s device performance). OEMs’ reputations improve when downstream devices work more reliably (fewer service disruptions attributable to module communications).
-
Potential for lower regulatory/compliance risk. In some sectors (automotive, safety, medical), consistent connectivity/fallback connectivity is required; rSIM helps ensure compliance with availability or safety requirements.
